Program Description
Northfield Girls Lacrosse Club (NGLC) dba Northfield Lacrosse Association will be offering an 8U level for skill building with 3 play days set aside with MsLax. The first date is June 4th at Orono High school. More information will come soon.
Dates: Mondays and Wednesday Evenings for practices. There will be no practice the week of July 3rd - 7th. Season ends on July 26th. End of year MSLax tournament is held on July 28th-30th ( this is pending if MsLax has this open to the 8u level )
Start Date: June 12th for summer practices. First play date will be June 4th.
Start Time: 6-7:30
Location: Spring Creek Elementary Lacrosse Fields
Players will need to provide their own stick, goggles, mouth guard and cleats. Mouthguards are mandatory at all practices and games and participants won't be allowed to practice without them. We look forward to a fun filled summer with your child! It is also important for the parents to have sports engine app on their phone for accurate communication between coaches and players. The Northfield Lacrosse Association is a not-for-profit organization providing youth in Northfield and the surrounding areas with an opportunity to develop a positive character building experience by honoring and respecting the sport and traditions of lacrosse.
The Northfield Lacrosse Association (NLA) partners with local businesses that generously offer our players, and their families various opportunities to raise money to help the Association develop Lacrosse in our community. The NLA uses the money raised during these fundraisers to:

The NLA is always looking for members. This group is dedicated, professional, fun and energetic. They meet once/month for about 2 hours.
Board members gain practical experience in planning and implementing programs, learn to value each other, and grow from what it takes to maintain a valuable youth athletic association. There are opportunities to network and get involved in your area of interest or expertise.
